Buddhismus -Great Collection

You know that I have some sites where I write about Buddhismus, Bon, Dzogchen ed other schools. First of all is Yungdrung Bon Blog in Italian and in English. But I post there many interesting things that do not need translation or explanations.

Now, because different persons said me about it, I opened a new site -a forum
where I want to collect informations about the thems we all are interested in.

The beginning was only for Yungdrung Bon, but I could not avoid other schools, and there are and will be created forums for all interesting themes.

The main idea of this site is to collect interesting information to study this or that form of Dharma.
For example, I wanted to study everything possible about Sherab Chamma -and the links I found about her I collected in one insertion of that forum.

I was interested in cosmogonic theory in religions -and there is a place where I collected what I found about it.

So, this is the idea.

I wanted to ask all of you, my friends, to join that my site.
Just if you only SIGN IN will help me.
First, I need the list of partecipants because the site is on free platform and I have to demonstrate that it's interesting for others.
Than, if you would like to partecipate on collecting links and informations about buddhismus -it will be GREAT. I dream to create a very useful excellent collection about Buddhismus.

Some Words About Sherab Chamma

I promised to Bharat to write about Sherab Chamma. Finally I can say that I'm ready to speak about her.

Sherab Chamma

Sherab Chamma is one -and maybe the most important- Goddess, pacific Goddess, of Bon panteon. If we think that Bön is one of the most ancient, "cosmic" religions, this fact becomes more interesting, from my point of view. Because the later religions prefere males as main Gods.

Sherab Chamma is Wisdom and Loving Mother of all Buddhas etc, sentient beings. Infact the name has these meanings. She is Golden Light, her practice heals from illnesses and donates long life. Some links you can find in my "Yungdrung Bon Forum"

Symbolism of "Great Mother":
this is the empty nature of all the phenomena of the reality, wisdom of the understanding of the absence of the individual ego, pure space, essence free from all the ignorance, absolut nature of the existance.

The wrathful aspect of Chamma is Si(d)pe Gyalmo and other, semi-wrathful aspect is the protector of Dzogchen Yeshe Walmo (read more Ya Shi Wal Mo)

Important Events In My Life

This month was rich on important evnts in my lif and I wanted to describe them here.

I visited a conference of Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo, the founder of the Dongyu Gatsal Ling Nunnery in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India (for additionary information and HELP visit www.tenzinpalmo.com). The conference took place in Naples. My photo camera is unfortunatelly very capricious and I have not better photos.

Джетсунма Тенцин Палмо

To be short in this post, I'll only describe the idea hat touched me more than others.
Normally we behave as little children. Emotions as waves carry us up and down. And we go with them up and down.
The main question is not to avoid samsara -it's very difficult. And not to remain always ON the top of the wave.
The main question is to learn to to feel certainty in this uncertain world.
Second important event in my life was the ritrit with our teacher Geshe Gelek Jimpa. This ritrit was dedicated to the second part of the text "Gyalwa Chaktri" that is Dzogchen teaching of Bon. More photos and other links you can find if you visit my Yungdrung Bon Blog in Italian language

I remember that I promised to Bharat to write about Sherab Chamma and will do it in the next days.

Confront Different Mantra Chantings

This picture I "stole" from the page I want to write you about here. Somebody told me about an interesting mix of a chantings of tibetan singer Loten Namling and a band "Lento". I thought, it can be interesting to "see" the differences.

Particularly I wanted to confront the "classic" chanting of mantras of monks and various modern interpretations.

So,this is the "classic" chanting of loved by many of you mantra of Chenresig, OM MANY PADME HUNG, that is easier to find in all the modifications too.

The first in sence of time for me was the New Age point of view, and there are infinite examples in You Tube (I hope, I found good example, if not, correct me pls) Here is not very changed variation, but there are many of them.

Chant Om Mani Padme Hum Hri By Ani Tsering Wangmo that you can find in Nepalese And Tibetan Arts Blog

Finally, if you did not open the page I mentioned in the first sentence: Number 3 there is a mantra ( lento-loten 3). (personally, I like the sounds of N°2 there)

How Many Years Do You Need To Become A Real Ajurveda Master?

перебирают кардамон

The last 3 or 4 days I read often discussions of bloggers that say: there is not necessary to learn many years to become a great guru of Ajurveda or other similar and not similar like mystic disciplines.

One person told me about a great professor of Ajurveda located in Moscau. He has many ajurvedical centers and many persons come to him to study ajurveda and to cure different deseases. The friend said me, many persons feel much more better after the healing practices in this centers.

I opened the site of his center and subscribed his newsletter. The first newsletter I received told me about the life of great professor. He studied Ajurveda in monasteries (it want to mean not one but different) for 5 (fife) years. After that he turned back in Russia and is now what he is.

So, my question, my dear friends, is this:
I thought, Ajurveda and other disciplines like tibetan or other medicine, magic etc are very difficult arts. One person needs many many years to become a guru of one of them. I don't know precisely how many years the "doctors" study, but I've heard about philipine healers (and wrote about them here too) that study about 15 years.

I would be very glad if you illuminate me.

Big Ego And His Babies

The second point I like in the practices transmeted by TWR this time (Transcending Ego And Fear ) was the part about Ego and his babies.
TWR says: Ego of a man is much more powerful and hard as the Ego of a woman (that is why probably men were those who tryed to fight it more as  women). The Big Ego begins to make baby-egos and all they are around him like the puples around their teacher. They listen to him, they answer all his requests.

The place where you can see all them together clearly when you eat your breackfast. You sit and eat, but the egos have a great meeting in this moment. And you partecipate secretly on this meeting. And you want to partecipate.  Because if you did not partecipate there, the egos would leave you. They want to be noticed. And if they look round and nobody notice them, they go away.
I like this part of the video. I recognize myself in it. It's really so in me: a Big Ego and uncountable quantity of little egos. I laughed when I listened to it. But -as says TWR- I do not think I'm able to leave them. Even for little period of time.

Transcending Ego And Fear

I translate for my russian friends the video of the last open practic pubblished by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, "Trascending Fear". I have not the possibility to do it in one session, so translate little parts at a time.

Last part I translated had two points interesting for me. And first of all this one:

(after 21:00 in the video) When we do this practices, we recognize ourselves. We become nearer to ourselves and this means we feel security, comfort and happiness. Our life is very difficult, we always are afraid of something, we are tired and we want to escape the sufferings. So when we enter this happy place we do not want leave it. This place is so beautiful, it's simply fantastic, you love this place and... your ego grows much more as before.

You know, it's really so. I knew this place before I began to study buddhismus. And I always wanted to go there. For many years the only thought I had in my head was: I don't want to stay here, I don't want to turn back in this world (because I'm sure, the reincarnation exist).

I DON'T WANT THIS WORLD!!!

This, as said, was my only thought. And, sincerely, I practiced buddhismus to reach this only aim of my life.

Now, TWR says: you have to learn to leave this fantastic place where it is.
Don't create attachment, don't create your ego much more biger as it is.

Well, what do you think about it?
