Marma points are probably the most mystic side in the Oriental healing culture. They were used to heal and to kill. Specially this last aspect attracted great interest because they told about deferred and one touch death used by ninja etc. I wrote some posts with interesting links in this blog (About marma points). Today I wanted to write some words about the mental stimulation of these points. It is something new for me even if I've heard many times about the power of our mind. However, I never put together massage techniques and mental stimulation.
Here is the idea:
If you have pains, you can concentrate your energy in the relative marma point and than release it. There are many maps of the marma points in internet (and in the post I just mentioned here there are links too) if you are interested in this technique. Important points are in the articulations. You can use "universal" sillables HUM and OM, associated with blue and sunny color accordingly, together with concentration (sunny is excellent in use and easy to imagine: think that the Sun is in the point). Breath in -concentration, exhale -release.
The source I read tells, it's necessary to repeat the sillable 108 and more times.

Marma Points And Pressure Point Fighting
The posts I wrote about marma points seems to be very interesting for the readers of this blog (More about relaxation and healing trouble techniques , About marma points ) maybe it's because I found for them really precious informations. I've seen with my eyes how the simple touch of some points can heal a person from very grave flu situation.
Today I found this video telling about the effect of the use of marma points for self-defence. The master do it without any visible effort... But I have to remember you, it's not so easy as it seems. You will laugh, but there are many persons, specially women that think it's enough to repeat these gestures when it's necessary. Pls don't think so. This is an illusion. To make it so easy this master does it for many many years!

More about relaxation and healing trouble techniques
It's true maybe, that when you look for something that is important in your life -not from your but from "cosmic" intentions (Till today I don't know how to name this to be accepted by all points of view)- the informations will come to you from very incredible parts.
All you know -and I become just noisy with this my idea fix- that I tryed to understand what is necessary to do to make the persons more happy.
In the last posts I told you about techniques of positive thinking, that are not very good interpreted by many of them hat practice them. Today, in the blog Yang Town I found a post How to Let Go of an Emotional Trauma that tells about other interpretation of this technique. The name is Tapas Acupressure Technique and is the great mix of 7-point prayer, marma points and positive thinking sentences.
First of all, The marma points here are not massaged but only touched.
Sincerely, I feel bad when I massage some marma points that are recomended to all as preventive and not dangerous.
From my experience I can confirm, the 7 point prayer is very effective.
Than I liked the 7-point prayer here. Hope the author will forgive me that I copy it.
Attention! These are only sentences. For the technique visit the link over.
Technique:
The healing I am about to do will also benefit all of my ancestors, my family, everyone involved, all parts of myself and all points of view I have ever held.
Step 1 - The Problem: This happened.
Step 2 - The Opposite of the Problem: This happened, it's over and I'm okay. I can relax now.
Step 3 - The Places: All the places in my mind, body and life where this has been stored are healing now.
Step 4 - The Origins: All the origins of this are healing now.
Step 5 - Forgiveness Part 1: I apologize to everyone I hurt related to this and wish them love, happiness and peace.
Forgiveness Part 2: I forgive everyone who hurt me related to this and wish them love, happiness and peace.
Step 5 - Forgiveness Part 3: I forgive everyone I blamed for this, including God and myself.
Step 6 - Parts: All the parts of me that got something from this are healing now.Step 7 - Whatever's Left: Whatever’s left about this is healing now.
Step 8 - Choosing: I choose ________. Fill in the blank with a statement of how you want to feel or any positive outcome that you want. Make sure it's positive such as "I choose to feel love towards my parents," and not "I choose to forget all the pain my parents caused me."
Step 9 - Integration: This healing is completely integrated now.
Step 10 - Gratitude: Simply give thanks to God, life, source energy etc. for the healing that has taken place.
All you know -and I become just noisy with this my idea fix- that I tryed to understand what is necessary to do to make the persons more happy.

About marma points
I had very stressed period last months. My first task is to learn the most efficient modes of relaxation for my body now.
I understand, every beeing has his/he own personal construction and as consequence has to be very personal the relaxation system for everybody.
One friend told me about marma points because I can't relax with my normal exercises and practices in this period. So I read about this technique. Here I post a brief review of many sites I found about it.
There are 2 parts that compose this science. Marma Vidya seems to be general name or for healing (or Marma Shastra?). Marma Adì is for martial art. The difference is in the movement to do. You strike your adversary to hit him or you press marma point with your thumb or the index finger to heal.
Marma are points where all our bodies come into contact. Physical body, energy ecc. That is why if you press this point it the hour when prana pass through it, you can send this energy where you need it. If you hit that point in this moment, you can affect the corresponding organ and even kill the person.
There are different explanations about the number of the points. One of them says: the points are infinite, most important are 365, most used are 43, mortal are 107.
These points are very user-friendly, because they take area about 15 cm, and it's difficult to miss it.
Who uses this healing technique, recuperate 100% the normal state.
The only problem is, there are not many marma masters in the world and they live in Kerala (India, I think). But...
We can do this practice only with the power of our mind and concentration. We can send prana where we need it in this way. The name of this particular Yoga is Yoga Pratyahara and you can read more about it on this page Yoga.net
