Concentration

These two photos of a praying monk impressed me very much. The author tells, this monk comes in this place for a temple every day (the photo was taken in Hainan). I don't know what precisely seems to me so special -probably his concentration. Or maybe the question: WHY does he it every day there? Maybe, I see it from my european point of view and there is nothing special, simply buddhist practice...
