Marma points are probably the most mystic side in the Oriental healing culture. They were used to heal and to kill. Specially this last aspect attracted great interest because they told about deferred and one touch death used by ninja etc. I wrote some posts with interesting links in this blog (About marma points). Today I wanted to write some words about the mental stimulation of these points. It is something new for me even if I've heard many times about the power of our mind. However, I never put together massage techniques and mental stimulation.
Here is the idea:
If you have pains, you can concentrate your energy in the relative marma point and than release it. There are many maps of the marma points in internet (and in the post I just mentioned here there are links too) if you are interested in this technique. Important points are in the articulations. You can use "universal" sillables HUM and OM, associated with blue and sunny color accordingly, together with concentration (sunny is excellent in use and easy to imagine: think that the Sun is in the point). Breath in -concentration, exhale -release.
The source I read tells, it's necessary to repeat the sillable 108 and more times.

Yin Yang Cheat
Do you like if somebody thinks you are an idiot?
Yes, you do.
And it seems all kinds of sellers think it this way and treat others as complete cretins. Excuse me if the words are too hard but it's the real situation.
It happened to me many times in my life that sellers or marketers I met learned me such a behaviour to become successful. "Your clients are idiots. They want to be treated as such, and you have to do what they want to make them feel happy." This is the Teaching of a Good Marketer.
The real tragedy is when marketers come to explain you things you need.
They know, there is a hungry audience that needs expertise. They know what to do to demonstrate they are effective experts, they have actual competence. Thinking they know do it is enough to cheat that hungry audience.
The modern educated audience wants alternative medicine.
Here it is.
I receive catalogs from some relative editors and newsletters from some related very known sites. I become furious reading WHAT they offer to read. Not only to read but to follow the authors visiting them in their studios. Bird watching therapy. Flat cleaning therapy. Yin Yang therapy of changes (You have to change every day! This is the law of the existance! This is the sense of the Chinese Phylosophy!). Every book costs about euro 15-20. They are big and with many pictures, 160 pages.
Are we really idiots? Is it enough to use one "attractive" word to obtain from us all our attention, our money, our lives? I remember those ingeneers of high level, I think, that commited suicide following a "clever marketer" in 70-th. He said them to assume the poison before the end of the world will come. They dead all 300 or something like this. He remained alive. A good marketer.
30 years did not change us. We continue to follow clever marketers that cheat us openly. And we are happy to be cheated! WHY???
Yes, you do.

Musical Therapy Of Obsessions
Obsessions... They say, everybody of us, living on the earth, specially those who lives in the industrialized countries, have the heads full of obsessions. I did a little research once. I fixed my own thoughts and what other people speak about during the day for about a week. It was really so. Everybody of those whom I contacted regularly during the day spoke always about the same things. It was possible to count them, those thoughts. And they were not more than 10, I remember. I only controlled what I read in a magazine.
Now, I read the obsessive thoughts is possible to cure listening special music today. It seemed to me interesting and I wanted to control which music could change MY thoughts. I opened You Tube and tryed with folks songs. Many Russian folks songs are "long" and I like sing them. This music is calm and some "tragic" (because often the song tells a sad story)
After that I tryed with "nostalgic" music. Something from my youth.
I tryed with classic music
And with modern songs
At the end I understood, the best music to calm thoughts in MY mind was this:
And in YOURs?

Following an earthquake in Kham, East Tibet (modern-day Qinghai) the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery of Thrangu Tashi Choling has been completely destroyed. The sprawling monastery was home to several hundred monks, lay people and children. Early reports indicate that at least two hundred people have died as a result of collapsing buildings.
Thrangu Tashi Choling was the seat of Venerable Thrangu Rinpoche, a Tibetan Lama of great compassion and renown who has worked his whole life to restore the monastery and provide a centre for the benefit of local people and the wider population. The terrible news comes at a time when immense efforts were being made to develop the monastery, to provide accommodation and to create a beneficial environment for all living beings.
Many of the inhabitants of the monastery, people who worked tirelessly for the benefit of others, have sadly lost their lives. Survivors are in urgent need of every kind of assistance.
Thrangu Rinpoche’s representative in the UK, Lama Wangyal, has set up an emergency fund to assist in the relief effort. Donations can be made by:

Singing Bowls Therapy: How To Buy And How To Play
One evening in Milan I went in the shop where it's possible to buy all the "esoteric" an buddhist things. I wanted to buy a singing bowl. It was a relatively long trip through Milan because I don't know the city, it's too large and because I don't know the distances I had to walk enough because I finally found the shop.
Entered in the shop I saw an entire collection of singing bowls and all their accessories. The owner gave me a stool and said I have to prove all the bowls I want. He said me I have to find MY bowl personally without any help from his side because it's an absolutely personal question.
So, I passed about half an hour to bit some of this bowls (there were many of them there). I was just ready to choose one before I came there. You remember, I read different articles and watched different videos about it. So, I knew the next points:
1 -there are simple bowls and healing quality bowls. The difference is in the vibration and how long the sound lasts. Healing bowls have pronounced vibration and the sound longs 1 to 3 minutes.
2 -it's not very clever to buy the bowls in internet because you have to control the sound. The blows can produce invisible cracks in the metal and the sound will not be good. The vendors could not change the item and not recognize the fault.
So I wanted to buy my bowl personally and the owner of the shop was strong with me in this sense too.
Singing those bowls -and there were very different of them, with pictures, very beautiful, and very simple with not very beautiful look- I discovered that there is really the great difference in sound and vibration. Finally, I found one with better as others vibration and nice sound. I showed it to the owner and said him, it seems to me, the vibration is good enough here. He took the bowl and showed me the sound how it is. I can't describe you HOW it was. I could not produce the sound this way and unfortunatelly did not ask the owner to show me how it works. It was... like in the space. We watch the space documentaries sometimes and they add this kind of sounds.
I'm not very downcast about it, I have watched some videos with the explanations. Today I looked for some of them. Here are the examples. If you know others, tell me pls.

Natural Weight Loss
There was an interview with a joung man in Italian TV some time ago. The yung man found an interesting job in a scientific center in US after he finished the university in Italy where he lived till that period. He went in US and began to get havier and havier every month till one day he understood, it's unpossible to continue this way because his weight was just over 100 kg. It happend so, that he turned back in Italy for 3-4 months -and here his weight become nearer to normal.
The same problem I see have my friends that transfered to NY. They had normal weight but now all the family is very fat. I asked them what could be the reason. They told me, they eat not only too caloric foods, they use much fat like butter etc when they eat. Bread with butter, eggs with butter etc. If we remember than that they work with computers and do not walk even if they have to cross Central Park to reach their office...
It's clear, we can't change our style of life easily. When I read or hear advises to pass to completely different healthy life, I think that the person that wrote or said this seems to be too idealistic. Such changes are difficult if possible. Our style of life is adoptation to our conditions. We will never do it if it was not necessary. We want to be healthy, slim. But we have out job, we have our hour for lunch. I found an interesting article Shopping for less fatty food when we go to supermarkets with realistic look at this problem. We have not change all our life, we have not become unhappy for the diets and unpossibility to follow them. It's enough to choose right products when we go in the supermarket. Among the similar products you can always foun one without additives, with less fat, with less calories etc. It's enough to be simply conscious about what you are buying.
