Negative Energies in Your Life -Clean Them!

Do you believe in evil eye and other ways to hurt you with negative energies? As a modern person, I do not believe in all this things. But... Sometimes the events of the life are so that you begin to think something is really true in all it. And... maybe go to the "specialists" who are simple charlatans. Often. Very often. In Italy, there were different great scandals in the last period when false magicians were discovered. Unfortunately, they had enough time to damage persons who looked for help. They asked always bigger and bigger sums to continue their "treatments" and threatened their clients when they wanted to close with that "help".

But the negative energies are real and they can damage us.

Once I had a very hard period in my life. It seemed, all the forces of the world are against me. I had an impression that I FEEL the air of negativity around me...

Смолевка
«Смолевка» на Яндекс.Фотках

I asked my grandy what can I do to cleanse all this negativity? She answered: wash all your flatware in salted water.

I remembered this story when I read an article about negative energies cleansing that I received in a mail today. There was an advice to clean them with salt, too. The method, described there, is to wash yourself in a bath with sea salt dissolved in the water and think all the negativities go away with the water when you open the plug.

An other advice is to use medical herbs basil, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, sage and/or cinnamon in anny way you like: infusion, incense or bath.

Burn juniper, sage, lavender or thyme.

But the most simple way is, maybe, always the way of salt. Put it in a cup or in a plate and leave it in the room you want to purify at least one our before you have to stay in it.

Sinus Congestion and Natural Medicines

Are you affected with allergie and can't breath more? If it can be useful for you, know that there are millions of persons suffering the same problem. Who knows, why is it so widespread in our times? I discussed it with my friends and many of them think, it's the conseguence of the chemical substances in our food and in all the activities of our life.

Well, I think, nobody can answer this question but the quantity of allergies seems to confirm this supposition.

I collected some remedies to cure sinusite and want to write about them here.

Most use steam baths for these treatments.
They add Eucalyptus Oil drops into the bowl (8). Others use boiled potatoes vapors. Effective is onion skin (I continue about the steam baths).

ОтварI experiment with ginger juice. I grate it, squeeze the juice, add water and drop it in the nostrils. There is nothing  pleasant but it's effective. Don't try it with children.

Very effective are branches of raspberries. Boil them and drink the infusion.

An other device you can use is neti pot. I wrote about it in this blog some time ago.

And try to avoid pasta and bread that help our organism to create mucus.

Effective Anti-Inflammatory Herb

Herbal rimedies are not always seen as something very useful. Maybe it's because many herbs and plants do not have immediate results. They need time to begin their work.

For example, you have to wait about 7 days to see the results of lime-blossom tea -it does not work immediately.

From other side, many plants store their main elements in the body and it can create problems with the excessive dosage. This is very dangerous in case you use toxic plant like Chelidonium majus. But not-toxic plants can provoke different problems for the same reason. This is the case of Lapacho (you can read about it in my previous posts about this plant)

Today, I want to tell you about a very effective Anti-Inflammatory Herb -Harpagophytum procumbens (photo from Wikipedia).
Cholecyst, urinary bladder, liver, kidneys, prostate can benefit if you use this plant. Not only. In Europe, it is  used for arthritis and joint deseasis. The effects are antispasmodic and painkilling. These last I can't prove personally but the Anti-Inflammatory action we observed in different cases like urinary bladder and prostate problems.

Purifying Treatment -Herb Tea

Purifying treatments are very useful to clean our inner organs from "limestones". I know that stones in different organs are very frequent problem and the reason why the organs are removed. Virtually, there is not an older person -from the age 60-65- that did not have these pains. I do purifying cure 2 times a year, normally, in spring and in autumn. With the hope that we will avoid this illness. I make herb tea with

dandelion

Artichoke

birch

milk thistle (Silybum marianum)

The preparation is very simple . I take a earthenware pot where I boil water (you have not touch the infuse with the metal objects). In this case you see pieces of Lapacho in the pot because, as I said in my previous posts, I decided to continue with Lapacho.

Отвар

A special mug is useful but not necessary. I put a spoon of the herbs (mixed) in it and cover them with boiled water.

Because the herbs are very nourishing, it's better to drink the infusion in the morning and reduce the quantity of sugars in the diet.

September: Continue with Lapacho

This year, I wrote different times about our attempts to use Lapacho to strengthen health (Useful to Prevent, Delay, or Treat Cancer -Lapacho). Specially, because we are not too young more, and the deseases of the age do not bypass our house.

Sommer finished for me 2 weeks before the end of August. I noticed that my nails became thin and fragile. The action of Lapacho finished, probably. I do not know why is it every year for me: nails and hairs suffer incredibly the change of the seasons.

I do not know, if I'm right, but I read in the books about the Eastern medicines (Ayurveda etc) that it's better to avoid to use herbs till September, 15 for health improvement. So, I respect this rule and wait for this date every year.

Now, what I want to do this year? I want to prepare the cleaning herbs (artichoke, birch, dandelion, milk thistle) and will add Lapacho to this mix. Not so much as I did in spring. I'm very afraid that I'll begin to add weight once more. I'll use only a very little quantity: only a pinch.
And will write about the results here, clear.

Cactus is a Medicinal Plant

Кактусы Цветут

Medicinal plants are very popular in our world now. If you like natural therapy, you probably use all the plants that grow not too far from your house (well, relatively far -not all have ecological and clean areas just behind the door, as I have). But there is one plant I've never thought it could be used as medicinal.

I have some interesting flowers now in the yard this week.

Yes, cactuses. Simple and so good known plants that ... are used as officinal plants, too.

Did you know it? Well, I did not. Enjoying these flowers this morning, I thought: who knows, there are maybe native for the places where cactuses grow nations that know their curative properties. And I undertook a little research in internet.

:-))) You will laugh maybe, but the traditional medicine that uses cactuses to cure some deseases is ...the Chinese traditional medicine (I thought, cactuses grow in Mexico and in deserts). And it knows about the properties of the cactuses from the times of the Qin Dynasty that means from about III century bC.

They say, cactuses help to relax, they calm pains, cure digestion's problems and much more.

But the other quality is most important for our life, I think: cactuses are able to absorb the radiation. Nobody knows how they do it. But the needles of cactuses can neutralize bad ions of sun, of TVs, computers, cells etc. That is why you can read often that you have to place cactuses near and over your devices.

Cherry Paste Decreases Muscle Tenderness

Interesting article arrived me this morning. I think, it will be interesting to read to everybody who prefers natural remedies.
WINONA, Minn. – A scientific study conducted at Winona State University has found that tart cherry paste significantly decreased muscle tenderness and pain following strenuous exercise, and generally lowered blood pressure compared to a group ingesting a placebo. The research findings were released by the university’s Department of Health, Exercise and Rehabilitative Sciences.

The purpose of the 2010 cross-over double blind study was to examine the effects of cherry supplementation on exercise-induced inflammation, muscle soreness and blood pressure. CherryFlex ProSport Shot, a tart cherry gel made from whole fruit and marketed under the name FruitFast, was used in the study.

Nineteen healthy college-aged male students participated in the study, with all subjects completing both a placebo and tart cherry supplementation. The study participants performed five sets of 10 maximal eccentric contractions of the elbow flexor immediately after ingestion of a placebo or cherry supplement. Both the placebo and supplement were also ingested for five days after the strenuous exercise bout.

Lead researcher Dr. Gary Kastello said the study results demonstrated an acute analgesic effect decreasing muscle tenderness and pain perception after subjects ingested the tart cherry supplement. Cherry supplement ingestion was also associated with a strong trend of lowering subject’s systolic blood pressure. On average, the subject’s systolic blood pressure decreased by 8 mmHg.

The current study differed from a similar study completed by Winona State University two years ago. The current study investigated the acute effects of tart cherry supplementation with subjects ingesting the supplement immediately before strenuous exercise, whereas the previous study investigated chronic effect with subjects ingesting
the supplement for 16 days prior to the strenuous bout of exercise.

“Any athlete in training or everyday individuals subjected to strenuous activity can become sore when muscles swell following exercise. Additionally, high blood pressure is a concern for all Americans,” said Dr. Kastello. “The tart cherry supplement decreased muscle tenderness and pain following exercise, and generally lowered subject’s blood pressure as well.”

According to Dr. Kastello, results from the original pilot study completed in 2008 suggested that the ingestion of the cherry supplement reduces muscle soreness, oxidative stress and C-reactive protein levels compared to subjects ingesting placebo.

Both studies support the finding that tart cherries speed relief of muscle fatigue post-exercise.

“The most compelling health-related change to come out of that early study was the decline in C-reactive protein, which is considered a marker of coronary artery disease risk,” Kastello continued. “This most recent study’s surprise finding was the general lowering of systolic blood pressure.”

The research findings were presented and published June 1 at the 2011 American College of Sports Medicine Annual Meeting and World Conference in Denver.

How We Cure Indigestion

There are different ways to cure indigestion. Someone drinks lemon juice, others use black tea maybe with juice of lemon and much sugar, sometimes they ingest activated carbon. All these remedies are valid.

Not all of us know that there is a very important plant to use in these cases: it's the wild rose. It's berries with the seeds. Not always we find seeds in the dry rosehips in the herbalist’s shops because they have not very pleasant hairs, but they say, these seeds contain very useful substances. So, if you prepare your herb tea, use the seeds and filter than the drink.

Wild rose is very good not only for those who has indigestion but for those who has liver and kidneys problems and illnesses. Even those who has grave illnesses can and have to use rosenhips without fear.

There are herbal drinks in the filters in the supermarkets, too. It's good if they contain hibiscus and elderberries, too.

The wild rose is very easy to grow in the garden and it's very efficient as a fence. You will have your own berries of the wild rose every autumn. But the wild rose is beautiful, too, and it will enjoy your eyes from spring till winter: the red rosehips are very spectacular in the white winter cover and they attract birds. You see how many joys and benefits can donate you a simple modest wild plant.

Mediterranean Diet for the Brain Health -Receipe

Mediterranean Diet is known as the best for health today. But it's ingredients you can find all year long in every supermarket round the world.

Scientists built a list of the best for the brain health  aliments where the first place takes red cabbage. Here is the receipe from the Mediterranean diet you can make every day all year long after you visit the nearest supermarket:

In the pack, there is a just ready mix for a salad: choose that with 3 or 4 ingredients with the red cabbage or, otherwise, red lettuce. Both are good, as explained earlier.

Olive oil is "Extravergine". Attention! Non everybody will say it to you but it's important: you have to conserve your olive oil in an inox recipient. Plastic is absolutely to avoid, and glass is not good, too. Don't use more than 1 spoon to flavour your salad! It's too caloric.

The other, black in the bottle on my photo, is "Aceto Balsamico di Modena" -balsamic vinegar from Modena (Italian city). Better if aged, and there are diffferent tastes, so try different marks for the best for you salad.

Other good for brain health aliments are
dried apricots
bilberry
cod
avocado
aubergine
beet
white chicken meat
salmon
coffee
kiwi
green pea
veal liver
molluscs
prawns
red beans
vine
sea salt
laminaria
pistachio, almonds, walnuts etc
sage
carrot
yoghurt
green tea "matcha" (other green teas are good too)
black chocolate
porridge
and others

Useful to Prevent, Delay, or Treat Cancer -Lapacho

Lapacho, a herbal tea (the internal coat of rind of Lapacho tecome) you see on the photo, that comes from Argentina, is a very useful drink. Here what is written about it in Wikipedia:
It appears to have antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, and is used to treat minor skin injuries, such as insect bites, as well as for other conditions such as . Lapacho is used by herbalists as a putative treatment for cancer, HIV, candida and numerous other deseases. Studies by the U.S. National Cancer Institute showed that lapacho may prevent, delay, or treat cancer;
Чай Лапачо

My husband was in Argentina, and I asked him to buy Lapacho for me because they said me, it's very good for the digestive system. They say, Lapacho is good even to cure cancer of the digestive system. Than, they say, it's good for so many grave deseases like allergy, diabete, herpes. There are clinics in Brazile where they cure Leucemia with Lapacho. !!! Others are artrite, psoriasi, arteriosclerosis etc.

To make a liter of this tea, you need only 2 tea-spoons of rind. First, you have to boil it for 5 minutes, than, you have to wait for 15 minutes. Finally, you can drink it. They say, it's better if you drink it together with mate. So, I prepare this "glass" of mate (only some drops -but I don't know how to make it in the right way)  and 250 ml of Lapacho.

Well, it's the beginning of the treatment. After a month, I'll write you about the results.

Alzheimer’s Disease and Natural Botanical Formulations

Alzheimer’s Disease is surely the sword of Damocles everybody of us is afraid of. I follow the messages telling what researchers do to save us from it and received this summary today. Hope it will be interesting to you too.
New research into Alzheimer’s disease shows promising results using natural botanical formulations to prevent the build up of beta-amyloid plaque in the brain. It’s long been noted that people in India have a lower incidence of Alzheimer’s disease. One factor contributing to this may be the consumption of large quantities of the spice turmeric containing the active compound curcumin.
Curcumin has been shown to bind to plaque-forming beta-amyloid. It not only helps stop the accumulation of beta-amyloid fragments, but it has also been shown to promote their destruction. In a study using a model of Alzheimer’s disease, curcumin (BCM-95) reduced the size of beta-amyloid plaques by 30% in just one week![1]Researchers noted that this especially potent form of curcumin was more effective at stopping the formation of plaques than many experimental drugs that are being tested as potential AD treatments.
Other research has found that Vitamin D works synergistically with curcumin to clear the brain of beta-amyloid plaques.[2] Researchers hypothesize that this combination stimulates a type of immune cell called a macrophage to more aggressively seek out and clean-up beta-amyloid fragments in the brain. Additionally, curcumin and Vitamin D help protect the brain from inflammation and from damage to brain cells caused by free radicals.

Studies About Echinacea

Echinacea has been used for hundreds of years as an herbal remedy to prevent or treat colds, and today it is among the most commonly used herbal medicines in North America. However, in spite of its popularity, studies of the effect of the herb on the body’s immune system are conflicting.

Now researchers from the School of Science at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis are investigating the possibility that Echinacea has other potentially more important uses – not in health, but in the fields of petrochemicals and agriculture.

Using the cutting edge tools of the newest “-omics” - metabolomics and transcriptomics - Robert Minto, PhD., associate professor of chemistry in the School of Science, is studying the lipid metabolism of the herb, bioprospecting the plant’s genes and enzymes.

“The goal of our National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project is to gain a better understanding of this plant, which in spite of its popularity, has not received the basic scientific scrutiny of so-called model plants like corn, rice and soy. We are identifying and mapping the complex biosynthetic metabolic pathways, especially the alkamide pathway. We hope that this work will lead us to a better understanding of the plant’s metabolic processes with wide-ranging application in such diverse fields as lubrication and design of disease-resistant plants,” said Minto, who directs the IUPUI Signature Center for Membrane Bioscience.

According to Minto, the study of the unique metabolic characteristics of Echinacea and other natural plants should translate into the creation of novel bio-derived compounds.

Minto and fellow IUPUI researchers are collaborating on this study of Echinacea with investigators from Iowa State University.

Healing Drink -Liquor China China Pisanti

As you know, I visited a tasting of wines produced on the slopes of Vesuvius on March, 25 (more posts will follow in my new blog "The Marvelous World of Travel") where I learned different interesting persons. One of them, Signor Aldo (unfortunatelly, I didn't ask his last name) from the company China China Pisanti told me about the liquor produced by them. Signor Aldo was so gracious to offer me this liquor to taste it.

Бальзам со склонов Везувия

Well, I have to explain you that I came in the hotel where the manifestation took place different hours earlier, at 13:00, invited by one of the organizers, and had just go home some minutes before the official tasting began (at 17:00). So, signor Aldo and some other manifacturers ("Sole e Terra Del Vesuvio", I'll tell you in one of the next posts) allowed me to taste their products ... illegaly ;-)))

Бальзам со склонов Везувия

What about the taste... You know, it was great. Such a bouquet of herbs and other natural components! I'm not a specialist of the wines and drinks, you know, but I use herbal remedies in my everyday life. So, I know the tastes of the herbs. You can believe me, it was a symphony of the flavours.

Бальзам со склонов Везувия

What I think about this and similar liquors (because it seems there are similar products in different nations and many in different parts of Italy) as a healing remediy:

>because the key components of this liquor are different medical herbs etc (china, anise, cinnamon, cloves, mint, sage, elder, fennel -I have to listen to the record of what Signor Aldo told me, but I think, he spoke about 25 herbs etc.), and you can feel it tasting,
>because it is produced from the pure natural products

... for these reasons it has to be a valid healing remedy.

Did you know, they say (I heard it many times), it is necessary to drink 50 g of such a drink every day to have good health? Now I'm sure about it.
;-)))

How to Use Herbs

I wrote about chinese herbal medicine in the last period and here is an interesting video I found about it today:

I liked these explanation and watched some videos from this serie. They are interesting and easier than others about the same theme.

Chinese Pharmacy And Arthritis

Посмотреть на Яндекс.Фотках
On the photo you see a real Chinese pharmacythat is situated in Chengdu, a town in southwest of China. I post here this photo because it seems to me very beautiful.

I don't want to inviteyou to plan a trip in this town there -this blog is to discuss the healing possibilities. So, I want to tell you what is happend to me.

I have problems with arthritis now, and the fingers become my real tragedy in the last month. "Normal" medicine gives me anaesthetizing tabs that you can take maximum 7 days. With grave consrguences for blood (ibuprofen). I tryed with termal clay and salt. The situation was better but not very satisfying. I could not sleep in the night for terrific pains in fingers and hands.

Somebody told to my husband about the remedies, bought in the Chinese pharmacy. He knew, there is such a pharmacy in Naples too. So, we went there one day about a week ago. The doctor there wanted to touch my wrists and gave me 2 types of tabs with herbs.

My friends said me, they would never use such medicines because these pharmacies are disagreeable and dirty. And the medicines come from bad places. I don't know, maybe they think about the popular movies. The tabs I bought, are manufactured in Holland, are even better packed than normal Italian medicines. What is important for me -I have not those pains in the night, and the situation is generally better. As you see, I can write here so much too. :-))) That doctor said me, I have take these tabs for 30 days. Hope, it will really help me.

Spices For Long Life

Many years ago we, a group of interpreters, were invited for a national feast of the Indian community of our city. There was a meeting with the speaches of the important persons and a party after that.

07.001.jpg«07.001.jpg» на Яндекс.Фотках

There were different plates that I've never seen before that party, and, sincerely, I could not eat anything because they were full of spices and -mostly- of pepper, I think. Even the dessert. When I ate a very little piece of that dessert (my friend said me: take a very little piece before you begin to eat), my eyes were out of their places.

Well, we do not eat so much spices -if we eat them at all.

But this is not very good because the spices offer many possibilities to improve our health. They are good for depression, skin, cancer, regulating of sugar, obesity, dementia and many other problems.

Today I write about cinnamon. It is obesity-fighting, sugar regulating, immune-boosting, internal parasits fighting. Cinnamon is good for degestive problems, toothaches, postmenopausal problems and Type2 diabetes.

If you want to try with this spices you have to remember that there are 2 plants that are called cinnamon in the commerce: Cinnamomum zeylanicum and Cassia. I write about the first one here. So, control the ingredients, when you buy it.

My personal advise is to try with the tea in the bags that you can find in the supermarket. Indian voyage, it's name, I think. With cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Very nice taste.

What To Do With Tibetan Milk Mushroom

About Tibetan Milk Mushroom I wrote just in my previous posts. Open this second post too: The Secrets Of The Health I Learned. This theme was suddenly interesting for many persons. :0))) And I thought, nobody knows about it...
Some of my readers asked me to explane how to cure this culture. I could not write about it because I had not much of the mushroom and had to wait it grows enough. Now I have some photos and post them here for you.

There is an important rule to follow:
never use metal.
The second is an important condition:
to grow, it needs warm place and air to breath.
Because it is too cold in my house, I bought a yoghurt machine.

Тибетский Молочный Гриб

I don't close it completly, as you see on the photo. This way, I think, it has enough air to breath.
After 10 hours (more or less) my fermented milk is ready. Here is how it looks:

Тибетский Молочный Гриб

I use only clotted part because I noticed, the whey is not good for my digestion. And I needed 3-4 days at the beginning that my organism accepts this type of yoghurt.

Тибетский Молочный Гриб

When the yoghurt is in the cup, I wash the milk mushroom with cold water and here it is just washed:

Тибетский Молочный Гриб

I prepare cold milk in the microwave cooker, throw tibetan milk mushroom in it and put it in the yoghurt machine.

Тибетский Молочный Гриб

All this you have to do every day. If you have to go away for some days, you have to wash your Tibetan Milk Mushroom with cold water and put it in the fridge.

This is all you have to know about the Tibetan Milk Mushroom. They say, it is very good for all digestive system. But you have to eat this yoghurt for long time to see the results.

Sea Salt For Hand Pains

The very happy period of the winter feasts is a period of the illnesses like arthritis and similar. Maybe it's for excessive humidity or because we are not so young as once but these days are marked by pains.

Here I want to describe you one of the folk methods to cure the arthritis.

Dissolve 2 tea spoons of sea salt in a glass of very warm water.
Make 8 layers of gauze and wet them in this water. In any case the fabric has to be similar to gauze.
Tie the wet gauze to the hand, cover with towel and leave it so till the morning or till the gauze is dry.

You have to do it for at least 7-10 days.

All the best to all you, my dear friends!

How To Cure Digestive Disorders

Maybe you would remember I told you that I had grave digestive problems after the anaesthesia. The doctors said me I have avoid medicines to protect my liver. You have to stand any pain, they said. Wait that the problem pass with the time.

It was hard time, I have to say you. I could not eat and felt bad.

So, I remembered honeys.
There are different honeys, you know. Every type has a little different action. One is good for sleep, other is good for other problems. I had a little jar with dandelion honey (Taraxacum officinale). You know, the healing properties of this plant are very important. And it is used as infusion for seasonal cleanings. I began to eat a tea spoon of dandelion honey in the morning and befor I went to bed. Just from the first time I felt better.
I wanted to know more about this type of honey (I have special literature) and found that it is used for hepatic problems. I bought other jars of this honey and ate it till the digestive disorders passed.

Tibetan Milk Mushroom

Photo

Yesterday I received finally my Tibetan milk mushroom and put it in the milk. Probably it's too early to tell you about it but I want to introduce the theme.

They say, it is very useful for the health and can help me to restore stomach problems. Here is the quoter about it:

"Its draw helps to restore an organism in the postoperative period promoting healing of wounds. It treats such diseases of gastrointestinal tract, as gastritis, pancreatitis and also exacerbation of ulcer. " (Source)

I have Tea Mushroom and like the drink it produces. The problem is the sugar you need to grow it. I can drink it in big quantities and so I assume too much sugar with it. This one, Tibetan milk mushroom does not need sugar. So I hope to drink it without thoughts about weight.

I'll tell you the story of how I grow and drink this "medicine" in my next posts.
If you use it, pls tell me your experience here.
